TRAINING BARISTAS | EVENT PLANNING | CINEMA
SENA offers more than 560 degree programs and close to 4,600 complementary courses.
Thanks to this, every year more than 8 million people are trained in areas that allow
them to access job opportunities both inside and outside the country.
Our barista, events and audiovisual media trainees will be present at Expo Dubai 2020,
to carry out a cultural exchange that complements their training,
exposes their knowledge and demonstrates their diversity of talents.
SENNOVA is a strategy that encourages the execution of applied
research projects that promote innovation and technological development.
More than 2,000 instructors and 4,000 apprentices nationwide are part
of this strategy to develop prototypes, software, patents, scientific
consulting and various solutions that promote the country's productivity.

Barista Services Technician at the La Salada training center,
where he has deepened his knowledge in all the processes that revolve around coffee.
Elkin Ramón
Apprentice of the technologist program in audiovisual media production and participant
of the Cine al SENA strategy, he developed the short film "Ondina" and has been
in the official selections of different national festivals such as Siembra and Macondo.

Apprentice of the technologist in Event Organization of the Centro Comercio Servicios Regional Bolivar.
He will participate in Expo Dubai 2020 to strengthen his skills and obtain a cultural exchange.

Apprentice of the technologist in Organization of events of the CIES Center,
center of Industry, Business and Services, of the Regional of Norte de Santander.
She will go to Expo Dubai 2020 to gain new cultural knowledge.
Santiago Sánchez
With his project "Butterflies and education as a tool for research and environmental appropriation"
he seeks to transform people's thinking through environmental education.
Artificial neural networks
Development of a research project called "Artificial Neural Networks"
in order to predict soil fertility and reduce costs for small farmers.
Emilse Triana
Emilse decided to study the program of technologist in tourist guide,
to be able to teach the tourists that arrive to her territory,
the cultural immensity that this one offers.
Coffee fermentation
To give added value to coffee, through controlled fermentation processes,
to help small coffee growers improve the quality and production of their crops.
Research on freeze-dried foods
The student of the technical program in cooking and Ricardo Malagón

Musical band from San Andres Islands,
formed thanks to the seed capital of Fondo Emprender.
